1Kathmandu to Soti Khola
Scenic drive through the Budhi Gandaki valley to the trek start.
2Soti Khola to Machha Khola
Follow the river gorge through subtropical forest.
3Machha Khola to Jagat
Cross landslides and small villages, enter the restricted area.
4Jagat to Deng
Climb along the narrow gorge past hot springs at Tatopani.
5Deng to Namrung
Forest trails open to views of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal.
6Namrung to Samagaon
Tibetan villages with mani walls and chortens.
7Samagaon acclimatization day
Hike to Manaslu Base Camp or the Birendra Tal viewpoint.
8Samagaon to Samdo
Enter the arid Tibetan plateau landscape.
9Samdo to Dharamsala
Acclimatize at the foot of Larkya La.
10Cross Larkya La to Bimthang
Long day over the 5,160m pass with glacier views.
11Bimthang to Tilije
Descend through rhododendron and pine forest.
12Tilije to Dharapani
Join the Annapurna Circuit trail at the Marsyangdi valley.
13Dharapani to Besishahar
Drive out of the mountains to the roadhead.
14Besishahar to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara for a lakeside rest day.
15Pokhara to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu. Trip concludes.
